Over the past week, we have seen an increase in vehicle crime within your area.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team is currently investigating these offences, and residents may notice an increased visible police presence over the coming days as we carry out enquiries and provide reassurance within the community.

A number of these incidents have involved offenders gaining access to vehicles that were left unlocked. Whilst officers continue to review CCTV footage and work to identify those responsible, we would like to remind all residents to take a few simple steps to help prevent further offences:

We would also ask residents with CCTV, video doorbells or other security systems to ensure they are working correctly and recording properly. Any footage capturing suspicious activity could prove invaluable to our investigation.
